The Brush East London Grand Café: Reviews & Ratings
Dining at The Brush was one of the highlights of my stay at art’otel. The atmosphere is chic and welcoming, with vibrant art-lined walls that match the energy of East London. Every plate was a delight — beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Special thanks to Shahanun, who made sure our dinner was seamless and warm, and to Jola and Runbayat, who were kind, attentive, and made the evening feel extra special. The entire team at The Brush was outstanding — friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. From the burrata to the mains and dessert, everything was cooked to perfection. If you’re visiting London or staying at art’otel, make sure to book a dinner here — it’s not just a meal, it’s an experience.
I truly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant, both for breakfast and lunch during my stay in London. The restaurant offers a wonderful selection of drinks and food, and I especially loved their unique take on fish and chips and mussels. Love the terrace outside. Staff at the restaurant are very helpful and professional. I would also like to express my gratitude to Yolanta, wonderful lady who host breakfast. Her professionalism and amazing approach made me look forward to breakfast every morning:)) She is always so lovely, warm, and welcoming, I have never seen her without a smile. Her positive energy turns breakfast into such an enjoyable experience and adds a very special touch to every visit.
We had been looking forward to visiting this beautiful restaurant for some time, and visiting on a whim for Sunday lunch was the best decision we made today! The service, ambience, coffee and especially the food were all superb. Our roast beef rpast was without question the best in this part of London, possibly the best I've had that I can remember in the city. Every element is cooked and seasoned to perfection, the gravy was knockout, the veg was firm but cooked through, beef lip-smacking, and the potatoes were out of this world! So flavourful with either goose fat or butter, just sumptuous. Oh, and unlike so many other restaurants when serving beef, their knives were EXACTLY what you should be given to get through your grub with ease. We shall be returning!
